Beginner Jewelry Project: Statement Earrings and Necklaces

  • 34 Lessons

Are you curious about making jewelry and want to learn from square one? Have you watched some videos but it all feels really overwhelming and you don't know where to start? Have no fear! I will cut through the noise, simplify each step, and use only the most basic tools to get you started. NO experience necessary! You can even purchase a tool kit on my website with everything needed to complete this project.

A note about tools and materials

My goal with this course is break down the barrier to entry into jewelry making by showing you how you can get started with only the most simple and budget friendly hand tools. We will not be using a torch or any power tools for this project.

Inside the course I have provided a detailed tool list with item numbers and links to purchase your own tools. There is a list of just the basics, a list of optional upgrades, and a list of materials we will use, (like sheet metal, wire, and jump rings).

But there is another option:

Project kits are available through my website

If you do not want to deal with purchasing the tools and materials yourself you can purchase a product kit, which is sold separetly, through my website. Kits will include all of the basic tools required, as well as brass and copper sheet, 6 different wire options, jump rings and earwires. This will be enough to complete up to 10 pairs of earrings.

Project kits with access to this course also make a great gift!
